Ozito cordless battery compatibility

Hi.   I have just bought an Ozito 12v cordless drill.  Could I use the battery from that in an Ozito 18v Circular saw or other Ozito power tool.

Re: Ozito Charger?

Hi @JGB,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you join us.

I apologise, but it appears that a regular charger has been placed in a box where a fast charger was supposed to be. You can see in the top right-hand corner one says 18v Li-ion and the other says 18v Fast Charger.

Sometimes "opportunistic" people will put lower quality products in the packaging of higher quality products that look similar to them. For this reason, it is often wise to double-check the product before leaving the store.

I'd suggest returning the product to your store of purchase with your receipt, explaining the issue to the helpful team members in the Tool Shop and exchanging it for the correct one.

I'm sure there won't be any issues, but I am happy to assist further if required.

Jacob

Re: Ozito cordless battery compatibility

Hey, I have a question. I have the ozito blower then I bought an Ozito blade trimmer (whippersnipper). Both haave compatible batteries. But when I bought an Ozito drill and a hammer drill the batteries are not compatible with the blower. Are there any adapter? Thanks

Re: Ozito cordless battery compatibility

Hello @hacruz

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us.

If the Ozito drill/Hammer drill you purchased has the Ozito PXC logo on it, then it should be compatible. But if not, then the PXC battery system will not work for your drill. I'm sorry, but there are no adapters available to switch from one system to another. If you still have the packaging and docket for the drill, I propose thinking about returning the drill and exchanging it for a compatible set.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric

Ozito Batteries comparison

I have a battery operated Lawn Mower OZITO (PXCLMS-018) (2018/06) and has a 18 Volt / 3.0AH Li Ion battery (PXBP- 300 - 3AH Battery) which is failing fast.

My Enquiry is I purchased and paid for

Ozito PXC 18V 2 x 4.0Ah Batteries And Multi Charger Pack yesterday 20/09/2024.

According to Bunnings website the above batteries and charger should be compatible with the 18 Volt / 3.0AH Li Ion battery PXBP- 300 - 3AH Battery and Lawn Mower OZITO PXCLMS-018 But I have my doubts due to the age of the lawn mower and battery.  Can some one assure me that the 2 X 4.AH batteries 18 V will operate in the mower without any damage to either units ?

Or do I have to purchase a new Lawn Mower to match. ?

Re: Ozito Batteries comparison

Hi @Marktech,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

Your PXCLMS-018 lawnmower is on the PXC 18v battery platform and the Ozito PXC 18V 2 x 4.0Ah Batteries And Multi Charger Pack is part of this same battery platform.

This mark indicates that your mower is a PXC compatible tool.

There's nothing to worry about, the batteries you have purchased are compatible with your lawnmower.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi @Marktech,

I'll be doing the same later this afternoon. I hope you're like me and enjoy getting out in the sun and mowing the lawn.
