@JacobZ is right I am pleased your repair is a total success we are here to help not hinder.

 

Also, great you used screws as well so the glue can fully dry.

 

Yes the small tube of glue I recommended is hard to get the glue out of I try to keep costs of repairs down for people, sorry about that.

 

Maybe for the future we get you to invest in a Caulking gun as it will take the harder squeezing work out of the job and the caulking tubes will allow you to squirt it right in where you need it,  A caulking gun will also be therefore any future repair jobs at need. i referred you to a more expensive gun as the super cheap ones are not quite as good.

 

The only negative with caulking guns and tubes is often the remainder of the glue and stuff in the tube will dry out once it is opened even it you try capping it.  The way to avoid waste is to line up a few repairs at once a use the tube up as the tubes around $20 each these days.
