The cavity door does not stay in the centre of the guide ie is loose and when we try to close the privacy latch the door gets pushed and not aligned with the strike plate.
We have the following rollers that came with the cavity door

In another part of the house we have a better quality cavity door with better guide where the door sits and has no give more suited to having privacy lock.
Hello @fixrupr
Welcome to the Bunnings workshop community. Its sensational top have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your cavity sliding door.
In order to give our members a better idea of what's going on, would it be possible for you to post a few photos of the guide assembly and the rail of the sliding door. There could a number of reasons why your door is out of alignment. But pictures will definitely help us determine why it's out of alignment.
If you need a hand posting the photos, please let me know.
