I bought this Taller torch a few years ago from Bunnings.
Powered by 3 AAA batteries.
I walked into my shed last night and saw there was a 'glowing' in a far corner.
I thought I musta left it on and the soft glow was because the batteries were drained.
So I went to click it off - and nearly blinded myself.
Four options normally.
Off has now been replaced by 'Soft Glow'.
Tried new batteries, same problem.
I cannot turn it off.
Weird?
Hi @Noyade
I suspect that there is something wrong with the switch, I propose pushing the switch in quick succession to see if will spring back to its original off position. If it fails to properly shut off, I suggest removing the batteries to prevent them from getting totally drained.

Thank you @EricL
But this torch is Kaput. Pity, tis a good product and good for working under a car or under the sink.
