trying to find locks that will work to lock double cupboard doors. They are the thickness of a standard door and don’t have a centre beam to attach the lock to. Thinking I can put a bolt in one side but beed to find a lock to attach
Hi @sjeff
as long as the door have an internal stop to prevent them pushing in then I think you should be able to use a set of these roller latches.

Hello @sjeff
Welcome to the Bunnings workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about your double door cupboards.
It's great that you've received good advice from @Nailbag. Just to add to the suggestions made, I recommend using a Remsafe White Mini Window And Door Bolt on the interior bottom of the left door. It will be necessary to drill a pad bolt hole on the bottom shelf to keep the door fixed in place. For the right door, I suggest using a Taskmaster 19 x 20mm Drawer Lock, this will keep the right door locked and prevent it from opening.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Thanks Eric. The door thickness is 35mm so I’m not sure the lock is big enough?
Hi @sjeff
My apologies I think I may have misunderstood your requirements as my recommendation was a latching only system not locking.
The lock that @EricL suggested is for cabinets and drawers up to around 16mm in thickness. It's total depth of 20mm allows for the lock plate and nut. You could still possibly use it but would require you to rebate the rear-side and rear of door to accomodate these parts, which will be problematic. Plus you have to be careful not to break into the cavity if the door isn't solid.
Otherwise a far easier solution for your 32mm door will be within the standard deadbolt range.

Hi @sjeff,
I'd agree that the drawer lock would require modifications to the door to suit it. As Nailbag suggests, a deadbolt would be an option, or you could install an entrance set like the Ikonic Brushed Nickel Ruby Entrance Set, which is essentially a lockable door handle.
The other door would need to be held in position, which could be done with a barrel bolt at the top and bottom on the inside of the door.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
