I purchased a Nelson 22W 185mm T5 Natural White Tri-Phosphor Circular Fluorescent Tube to replace the old one, but it didn’t light up at all. The previous tube also didn’t light up, so I assumed the issue was with the old bulb. Now I’m unsure. What could be the possible issue, and what’s the best way to fix it? I've attached photos for reference.
Hello @Ton
Thanks for sharing your question about your fluorescent light. If this is your second bulb, there might be something else that could be causing it not to work properly. I propose engaging the services of an electrician as they can diagnose your light assembly and possibly repair it.
Let me call on our experienced member @MikeTNZ for his recommendations.

Im having exactly the same issue. My original bulb is different to the replacement in terms of the last digits but the code number is the same.
i need help also to find the exact details and product.
Hi @lilblau,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.
The only thing I can think may be causing an issue is the pins not connecting well with the light fitting, so check they are aligned properly before testing.
The two bulbs you've got should be the same, so if simple troubleshooting doesn't work, similarly to @EricL's response above, I feel the issue could be with the actual light fitting, which would require the assistance of a licensed electrician.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
