Hi. I have wooden cupboard and drawer doors that have partially or fully broken off. I have the broken parts. How do I reattach them?
Hi @Anne5,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
The drawer fronts are fairly simple. You can either put a screw through the drawer face into the chipboard sides of the drawer or use some Zenith 50mm Zinc Plated Angle Brackets to screw into the side of the chipboard and the back of the drawer face.
If you are going through the face, use a chipboard screw that is long enough to go through the face and embed into the chipboard by at least 30mm. Something like these Zenith 8G x 50mm Chipboard Screws would be a good option.
If you use the angle brackets, a shorter screw that will embed into the chipboard and drawer face without poking through the other side is necessary. These Zenith 8G x 15mm Timber Stitching Screws should be a good option.
The cupboard door can be glued back together with PVA glue with a suitable flat bracket and screws to hold it all together.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you.
where would I place the flat bracket for the cupboard?
Hi @Anne5,
Your door is made up of several pieces of timber. The flat brackets would transition across the joins in them and across any cracks. They would be used to reinforce your glued joints if needed.
