My kitchen installer broke the soft close runners which were attached to the carcass of the cabinet. This is for the rubbish bins.
Now I need to purchase new ones but am unsure of what to purchase. Can anyone assist me please.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Jenna7. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about cabinet slides.
To better assist, could you provide more details on how the slides were broken? Is it the actual mechanism that’s damaged, or did something come loose or misaligned? It’s possible that some of our helpful community members might have ideas on how to fix the issue.
From the photos, it appears that the slides are part of a proprietary system specifically designed to hold the frames for the rubbish bins. Because of this, it's likely that these slides aren’t a generic part and could be harder to replace. It would be best to contact the manufacturer of the system to see if they offer replacement parts.
If the slides you have are from Kaboodle, I’d be more than happy to assist with finding a replacement or even help you order a new set. However, if these are a different brand or a custom system, it may be more challenging to find a direct replacement.
Also, have you had a chance to contact the kitchen installer about the broken slides? If it was damaged during installation, they might be able to assist with getting the issue resolved or provide a replacement part.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
