Is there an AU product cleaning equivalent to the US F9 BARC (Battery Acid Restoration Cleaner) and ACT Concrete Cleaner to remove acid battery stains from ground of the garage? Bicarb soda has been used for soaking overnight and cleaning but might need stronger cleaning product?

Re: cleaning acid battery stains from ground of garage

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @acidbattery. It's great to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about removing stains from concrete.

Unfortunately, I’m not aware of a specific product available specifically for battery acid stains. However, you could try a standard concrete cleaner, such as 30 Seconds Outdoor Cleaner or a similar heavy-duty degreaser, to see if it helps lift the stain.

Since bicarb soda has already been used to neutralise the acid, this is a great first step.

Always wear appropriate PPE (gloves, goggles, and a mask) when working with strong chemicals and ensure good ventilation. Test any cleaner in an inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn’t cause unintended damage.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
