Are the long pallets used in the timber yard ever available?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Emma5. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about acquiring pallets.
Typically, they do become available, but unlike our smaller pallets, the stock resides on them until it is sold through. Once the stock is sold, they'll be put out for collection. So, you don't see them as regularly as normal pallets. Your best bet would be to speak with a team member in theTimber Yard and let them know you're interested in picking one up when it becomes available.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

I am currently teaching a recycling and reuse project with my year 9 and year 10 students. We intend to build a storage/ bookcase under a stairway at our campus in Rockingham.
We all would be very grateful if we get our hands on some free pallet timber to reuse to complete our task. We would be able to collect the timber if required. Much appreciated.
Yours Sincerely,
John Sabin.

Hello @John66
I've been in contact with our store in Rockingham and they have pallets to give away. Please note that it is on a first come first serve basis and can't be put aside. I suggest calling the store and speaking to the trade desk team and asking them if they have any free pallets available for pick up just to be safe.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
