From basic shed to karate studio 2 months solid work and lots of Bunnings flybys!!!

What a fantastic transformation from an ordinary shed to a functional karate studio. I can see that you've insulated the roof and covered the walls with lining. Did you run into anything difficult while in the process of converting the shed to a karate studio? Have you always wanted to convert the shed into a studio? What finally gave you the motivation to go for the revamp?

Any other information you can share about the shed's transformation would be very much appreciated.

What type of insulation did you use and was it difficult to install?

hi Eric. I’ve uploaded photos of the full process from the slab through to the insulation- carpentry-paint and finalised product- ( note neither of us is a tradie - I work in an office and my friend is a retired truck driver - my friend and I worked from 5pm to 2 am 6 days a week for 6 weeks - everything was purchased at Bunnings North Penrith, as I stated lots of Flybys

We used 2 types first type R7 bats ( new pictures in the thread show the brands ) which changed the temperature almost immediately however they were very tricky to secure so to we then covered theses with some thinner insulation normally reserved for the walls ( rated R3) this film allowed us to cover any messy cuts - now the barn is very insulated
