I’m trying to join some prempanel timber acoustic panels together on a 90. I’ve cut them at a 45 but am wondering what would be the best way to fix the individual slats in addition with glue. Each slat is roughly 20mm
Hi @weekend-dad , I think if you use the right glue and clamping method as @EricL suggested , the glue should hold the mitre joint together, may I suggest that you cut up a small sample length of mitre pieces and join them together, let dry for 24 hrs, then try to pull apart, then you can check how the joint holds up to the glue, I have used this type of glue in the past and found it quite strong a nd weather resistant too
@weekend-dad Please note I have edited my response, the glue I posted was not the one I use, it should be this one, it’s a polyurethane glue.
Thank you. Currently trying that atm
