Help needed, how do I attach the Ametalin 1350mm x 6.67m Thermal Liner to my tin roof or back or garage roller door? Thanks
Hi @bluesue
Please don't forget to post a photo update once the insulation is in place. I'm sure our members will be keen to see what it looks like when fully installed.

Hi does it matter if I have the white side of the reflecta insulation facing out into the room? Thanks
Hi @bluesue,
The installation instructions call for the silver side to face out into the room. Given that they've specified this, I would suggest that it is required. Often, sarking-type insulation has a specified orientation in which it performs best.
If you want to improve the appearance, you could then cover the back of the garage door with white melamine-coated MDF sheeting.

@mikepilling2 can you tell me more about this? I was going to use foilboard to insulate my shed roof but now your comment has me thinking I can use thermaliner and just cut and tape down? Is that what you did?
Hi @Char1991,
@mikepilling2's installation technique could work for your roof, but the forces of gravity would be of more concern on an inverted surface rather than the vertical one discussed here.
You can adhere the Foilboard to your roof with clear gutter silicone. When installed correctly with the required airgap, Foilboard has a higher insulation value than an insulation liner.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
