How do I remove a rusty nut?

I've used WD-40 to try help but I genuinely have no idea, this is my first time trying to work on metal

We can then make recommendations on what tool and methods you can use to remove a rusted nut. At the same tame we'll be able to tell you what to watch out for and if you need to be careful when removing a rusted fitting.
