Hi @Noyade,
I apologise for that experience. I'll contact you via PM for further details so I can follow up with the team in-store.
I can confirm that the few wet treated Pine products cannot be cut on our saws. Several of the sleepers are also wet products. All our other H3 treated Pine products can be cut in-store.

Can Bunnings cut composite decking boards (ekodeck plus) to length?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Melvx. It's sensational to have you join us any many thanks for your question about cutting composite decking.
We do cut Ekodeck composite decking within our stores. Please let me know if you run into any issues with having this product cut, and I'd be happy to make contact with the store for you.
It sounds like you have a decking project in the works, and we'd be keen to hear all about it. Feel free to start a discussion post if you want to share it with the community or need assistance.

Hi Michael,
I read your post and was searching which stores can cut wood to size. I looked up Alexandria, Randwick, Chatswood and all of them didn't mention Timber cutting. Did I miss something?
Thanks
Martin
Hi Mitchell,
I'm close to completing my deck using tuff blocks and ekodeck. I'm looking into fascia options.
Can Bunnings cut to reduce the width of the ekodeck so that the groove used to install the boards is removed?
Thanks in advance.
One of the best ways to check if the store has a cutting service is to give them a call. I was looking at the Chatswood store online and it's a pretty big store. I'm quite certain they have a cutting service. I'll give the stores you mentioned a call just to make sure. I'll get back to you as soon as I have more information.

Hi @Melvx
I'm sorry but unfortunately, the stores will not do a rip cut of the Ekodeck. However, I suggest getting yourself an XU1 1200W 185mm Circular Saw to do your rip cuts. If you don't want to damage your regular saw, you can use the XU1 as your rough and ready. If you want a superior cut, I recommend getting a more expensive cutting blade. You'll be surprised at how good it cuts despite it being an affordable circular saw.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Hi @EricL
Thanks for the feedback. I just checked Chatswood NSW store, and it doesn't have timber cutting even though the shop is big in size. I will call another to check before visiting. And I just worked out how to find it in the Bunnings webpage after expanding the list of services in each store. Somehow it was hidden when I first raised this question.

Hello @martyinbondi
Good news! Bunnings Alexandria and Randwick both have timber cutting services. Just to be safe, please give them a call to make sure that their cutting saws are up and running.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Hi, can the cut shop cut a 600mm wide panel down to 550mm wide for me? I would be buying the panel from Bunnings. Thanks.
