How to remove stains on bathroom vanity?

Is it possible to remove these stains and repair the damage caused by an essential oil on our bathroom vanity please? Seems the vanity has been constructed out of wood and painted.

Re: How to remove stains on bathroom vanity?

Hello @DIYer5

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about removing the stains on your vanity.

I propose trying a soft approach first by using water and detergent in combination with Mr Clean Eraser Pad Block. This might take while, but I encourage you to keep rubbing the stain until it fades away. The next step up is by using Mr Clean Power Scrub Scourers. It's important that you use water and detergent with this scourer as it is rougher, and if used intensively can damage the surface of the vanity. Your goal is to make the stain fade away without compromising the finish of your vanity.

As to the gouged damaged section, I propose filling it with UNi-PRO 500g Multi Purpose Interior Filler. It will not have the same finish as your vanity, but it will flatten the area out. I will leave the decision up to you.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
