A bathroom near the ocean had a low-cost makeover featuring distinctive jellyfish wallpaper and whale bowl basin.
This was a 70's bathroom that needed upgrading. We started by painting the walls a navy blue and the cabinet to match in a gloss navy blue. As we live by the ocean I thought a fun and whimsical ocean theme would be appropriate. The wallpaper features jelly fish with navy background. The basin is a silver whale fruit bowl converted to a basin. The granite bench top is left over from our kitchen reno. It was a very economical revamp!
We painted cabinet, walls and ceiling, then wallpapered the feature wall. Tiled the backsplash and called the plumber to install the basin and tap.
