Can you exchange without a receipt?

Hi, a few weeks ago we were renovating our bathroom and I bought a variety of taps, mixers etc.

.I have had nothing but trouble trying to exchange these mixer taps - yes they are $200 each but with the clean up and removal of rubbish and demo it was thrown out.

I specifically tell   Bunnings staff that the receipt has been thrown out accidentally and id just like to exchange these items or a store credit but because the taps are 200 ea they refuse me. They are in the original condition they were purchased in.

Online you don't stipulate a maximum price or exchange can only be offered for items $200 and less.

It's frustrating

Re: Exchange

hey MitchellMc,

I’m also having this same issue. I’ve purchased window locks and door locks, as we needed to replace the security in our home due to escaping DV (me and kids), but it ended up being all replaced by a local community support service and we weren’t needing to use the ones in which I had purchased. I’ve lost the receipt and it was paid via cash. It’s close to $700.00 worth of products and I can’t get anything back not even via a store credit (which is what I am seeking as we have other things in and around our home that still need replacing). It doesn’t state on the website or any terms and conditions of Bunnings that there is a limit for returns without receipt or proof of purchase, please can you provide me with the clause or policy in which states that there is a limit? Is there anything I can do to get something/anything back?

I apologise that you haven't been able to exchange those products. I'll reach out via private message to discuss options and put you in contact with the store manager at the store you purchased from.
