today I unscrewed screen door and painted trim and spraypainted screen door .. need a bit of a touch up .. saving money and not adding to environmental waste need to paint front door..unsure to do ironstone or leave vivid white. My partner gets a little glared with the sun and white 😬😂
Hi Danni, what spray paint did you use? The door looks great!
Thanks.
Thankyou
Thanks @JacobZ for the tag. @annieerbs I used Rustoleum spray paint
Looks great - did you remove the wire mesh first? If so, how - I want to do mine but can't see how to remove the mesh///
Hi @Nickim1,
Let me tag @projectmumdanni so they are alerted to your question.
It would make sense that they removed the mesh first and then replaced it after painting. To remove your mesh, you'd dig out the rubber spline that retains it in the frame—it's that black rubber. Look around the perimeter until you find the joint in it, and use a small flat-head screwdriver to pull it out. Once you have the end out, you should be able to pull the rest out by hand.
Mitchell
That is correct Mitchell. @Nickim1, The screen was removed and replaced after spraying.
