How to replace outdoor window seals on aluminium windows?
I am about to paint the outside of my house and want to replace the broken/horribly painted window seals on the outside of our aluminium windows. What product do I need to replace them and how do I do so?

Re: How to replace outdoor window seals on aluminium windows?
Hi @Moosley,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
Does the seal feel like rubber or something more along the lines of PVC?
I think the best solution is to replace it with something like this Brutus 25 x 25 x 2.5mm x 2.4m Angle Building Moulding, assuming there is sufficient depth to the cavity to slot the PVC angle into.
After removing the existing seal, apply silicone to the top edge of the angle and push it into the cavity, holding it in place while the silicone sets.
You can then seal the bottom edge of the angle with Selleys White No More Gaps Exterior Gap Filler and paint it to match the surrounding area.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Jacob
