How to remove grime on tiles?
Hi I’ve had my tiles down now for approximately 7 years and they are starting to get a bit of grime and build up on them. I could get a company to come and give then a clean but was wondering if there is a cleaner out then I can spray on them give them a quick scrub and the rinse off. Any suggestions
thanks
Julie

Re: How to remove grime on tiles?
Hi @julies,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
Do you have any photos that you could share? That would help us narrow down our approach. Let me know if you need assistance uploading images. I'm happy to help if required.
For general tile cleaning, this Davco 1L Tile And Grout Cleaner should do the trick. As per the instructions, it should be tested on the tiles before use to ensure it does not adversely affect them.
Once the test is completed, mix 1 part tile cleaner with 10 parts water. Wet the tiles before applying the cleaner, then apply the cleaner and allow it to soak for up to 10 minutes before scrubbing with a stiff-bristled brush and flushing with clean water.
This should have your tiles looking great in no time.
Let me know what you think.
