How to improve finishing of concrete edge around the house?
Hi,
I've got this insulation popping out all around the concrete edges of the house. It looks so dirty and unfinished. Is there something I can do to improve the finishing and make it look better?
Thank you for the suggestions in advance.
Cheers,
Prabs

Re: How to improve finishing of concrete edge around the house
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @prabs. It's sensational to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about finishing concrete edge.
You could carefully cut the expansion foam down so that it sits just below the height of the concrete slab. This will give a cleaner, more finished appearance. Once the foam is trimmed, you can fill the gap between the slab and the wall with Sikaflex 11FC, which is a high-quality, flexible sealant. This will not only help to seal the gap but also provide a neat and professional finish, making the area look much more polished. Make sure to apply the sealant evenly for the best result.
Remember to wear protective eyewear and cut-resistant gloves.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
