How to get a paint sample from a masonry wall

Hi folks

Recently moved into an apartment that had been freshly painted. Sadly no paint sample left and all the walls are brick so I can’t scrape enough off to get a pot made up. Apparently need a clean 5c stamp size for them to colour match.

Any suggestions / tips appreciated.

Sounds like a good approach, @toby8. My money would be on the Lexicon quarter as that would be a commonly used colour.

I think you might be right, lexicon quarter is far left.

Got in touch with painter. Slight language barrier made things a bit curly but it looks like for walls he used Dulux vivid white (sent me this piccie of the can). Was close but no cigar!
