Hi, I was wondering what type of sealing would be most appropriate for this door. Cheers.
Hi @mchael2n9
From this door inside view a good seal would be a self adhesive foam tape 3 to 5 mm thick that is taped to the DOOR FRAME on the surface that the door touches, Cut it to size each vertical and horizontal don't try to make it wrap around the corners. As the door is closed the foam is compressed slightly creating an air seal all around the door. This slight foam compression also stops that soor rattling in the wind.
This foam tape is white to match your door and frame.
Hi @mchael2n9,
Thank you for your question.
I believe you are asking how to seal the gap between the tile and the underside of the door jamb. Is that correct?
If so, I'd suggest using a white silicone such as this Parfix White Bathroom And Kitchen Silicone.
Check out How To Silicone a Gap for some guidance on the process.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
