Hi team, just after some advice on what products I need and how to fix this wall?
accidentally hit it when we moved the couch in!
thanks in advance
Hi @chloel,
You could use Dunlop 10kg Rapidset Repair Mortar to fill the damaged portion of the wall. You'll need a trowel to apply the repair compound and then a concrete rubbing stone to sand the area smooth. You might like to fill the area with the repair compound to just below the wall's surface and finish the detailing with a plaster filler, which will be easier to sand. Apply the filler gradually and let it dry between coats. Build up the area with several applications rather than one thick coat. It will be much more manageable this way and helps prevent applying an excess amount that just needs to be sanded back.
Once you've filled and sanded the area, you'll need to apply a primer and, when dry, your wall paint.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
