How to create this paint colour?
I recently
had a 4 litre Cabots Deck and timber colour made to a particular formula, namely:
Extra light base.
EE 4Y53N
LL 6Y12N
B 53N
What should the formula be for 10 Litres?
the following was mixed:
Base EB
EE 4Y53.00
LL 6Y12.00
B 0Y53.00
Could you advise if this is correct.
Regards
Mark

Re: Paint formulas
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @plad153. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about colour tints.
The formulations you have supplied are the same. The 10L formation should be 2 1/2 times more than the 4L. You haven't provided the name of the colour, only the tint base, which is Extra Bright, so I can't tell whether the 4L or the 10L have been incorrectly tinted. I presume there was a white sticker where you got this formulation; it should also tell you what litre it was for. Could you share a picture of the sticker with us? Let me know if you need a hand uploading images.
I'd recommend returning to the store with the can, and the team there will sort it out in short order.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
