Just click on Stores at the top of the page, then Find a store, then click on the More details option when your chosen store has appeared.
This will take you to a page where you can see and book upcoming workshops. For example, here is the page for Artarmon.

One of the best ways to get registered for the next garden meet up is to call your local store and speak to the activities organizer. You can then ask them to book you in for the next garden meeting. From there you'll be able to find out the dates of the activities that will be held and when the next meet-up will be organized.

The best way to book your spot for this particular event is to give your local store a call and speak to the activities organizer. They will definitely know the details of the activity and be able to register you.
You can also visit the In-Store D.I.Y. workshop page. This will allow you to search what activities are going on in your local store. Select your state, store and date to find out what activities are lined up. You can then simply click on the big red button that says, "Book my place" and just follow the prompts.

It's fantastic to hear you'd like to start learning some carpentry skills, they are truly some of the most valuable and rewarding skills that you can learn.
Bunnings stores frequently run D.I.Y. classes for beginners that offer a welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds to learn skills and share with other members of your community. You might like to have a look at the D.I.Y. Workshops And Activities page on our website for upcoming classes in your area.
There are also community organisations all over Australia and New Zealand that offer support with this kind of thing. You might like to Google Men's Sheds and Women's Sheds in your area and make some enquiries. My father recently started attending our local Men's Shed as he approaches retirement and by all accounts, it was a very welcoming environment with many knowledgeable people willing to offer their advice and expertise.
Some of our members such as @Splodg, @Wayne and @r23on have shared that they attend Men's Sheds in their area. Hopefully, they can offer some insight into what it's all about
My carpentry journey started with a great deal of YouTube and some sawhorses that are almost the same as the ones my colleague @MitchellMc made in How to build a saw horse.
Around 10 years later, they are sitting out the back of my parent's house, a little worse for wear, but still as strong as they were in the beginning. They are currently supporting some of the materials I am using to renovate my parent's home with the skills I have learnt since then.
Everyone learns differently, but I found that just giving it a go was the best way to learn. I started with a hand saw, a drill and some drill bits, nothing else. I used the cutting service at my local Bunnings when I couldn't achieve things with a hand saw, and when I decided this was more than a passing hobby, I invested in some more expensive tools that ended up serving me well through my time in the construction industry.
Looking back, I'm so glad that I took that first step and I'd encourage you to get out there and give it a try.
