Does anyone know good free design software to plan layouts for kitchens, bathrooms, laundries?

There is a software program called Sketchup..It's a 3D program that you can design just about anything on..It's also free..

In addition to @Prof's very helpful reply, let me just encourage you to take a look at Workshop member @redracer01's fantastic posts. He uses SketchUp for his wonderful kitchen and bathroom designs that he shares with members.
