What design software do you use?
Keen to hear if any community members can recommend programs or apps that they use to draw quick and easy floorplans.

Re: Drawing floorplans
Hi,
Like @2Belindas Pen and paper for me initially, then I use a program called 'Smartdraw' to put everything together. This program has heaps of templates and you can even insert furniture to see how everything lays out. This does cost however I am pretty sure you can download a trial version. Can be a little tricky for first time users but has a very good user guide.
I also use this for electrical wiring diagrams and landscaping layouts.
@Isobel, that does look good. I may have a play with that in future.
Cheers'n'beers
Daryl

Tools to create digital image of your imagination
I have various plans and visions for my house projects. What do you guys use ( software / computer-based tools) to turn your imagination into a digital form of the image so that I can erase, edit, show others for feedbacks and check if that concept is viable?
If these tools can be used for indoor home improvement as well as for outdoor landscaping ( which I need mainly for), that will help me a lot. I give a new concept to my existing house and do the home improvement slowly. I have already done painting ( 4bedroom house) with the help of my wife, curtain hanging, etc.
