power to my patio

Hi,

im in WA, I’m building a free standing “patio” in the pool area, and I want to get power to it.

I will need a couple of gpo’s a fan and a couple of lights, overall dimensions are 5mx 4m x 3m high sloping to 2.5m (scallion roof). Between the house and the patio is a deck, I have removed a couple of decking boards and dug a trench from the house to one of the holes that will have one of the uprights (100 x 100 x 5mm galv post). What I need to know is what to put into the trench/hole to allow my sparky to run power from the house (cooker socket) through the external wall, into the trench and up to the upright…..ie, pvc pipe/metal conduit?, is there a specific product that needs to be in there to conform to WA protocol?, or does it just need to be a certain diameter so they can push through what they need?

also do you think this will be able to be just wired in addition to the ring main I already have, or will need seperate wiring back to the switchboard with its own breaker?……apologies for the mega long query.
