Hi,
Was wondering if with the correct blade the above model would cut through steel piping (up to 10mm).
Looks a winner to cut through 50mm timber sleepers, just wanted to kill two birds with one stone if it's compatible with different blades to cut different materials?
Cheers, have a great day!!
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Shark67. It's great to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about circular saw blades.
That saw is compatible with other blades like the Diablo 7.25"/184mm 48T Steel Demon Ferrous Metals Circular Saw Blade. You need to check the specs on your pipe's wall thickness to make sure it's suitable. It also needs to be mild steel pipe. "Ideal for mild steels with 1/8" maximum wall thickness: steel studs, angle iron, channel, flat bar, EMT conduit."
Please let me know if you have any questions.
