What is this garden tubing for?

Hi Team,

I was putting in Pine Garden Edging from Bunnings, I accidentally gouge this tube, but not cut through it, Can someone please tell me what this is? Thank you so much.

Re: Help, did something stupod

Hi  @JustinMcAbbe

Tt looks  like an adjustable water hose as it has a water mark logo on it possibly an old  watering system the tap  used to  adjust gardens water usage  on possible an automatic system.

Re: Help, did something stupod

Hello @JustinMcAbbe

The first picture is a standard Agi-pipe 65mm or 100mm hard to tell. It is used to transfer water from one spot to another and is usually part of a larger system. If water comes out of the gash, I suggest wrapping it in T-Rex 48mm x 1.5m Strong Waterproofing Tape to patch up the leak.

Your second picture looks like a pressure reducing valve. Was this damaged as well? If not, please leave it alone and do not attempt to adjust its settings.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric

See something interesting? Give it the thumbs up!

Re: Help, did something stupod

Thank you, the valve is not damage at all, I'll use the tape to patch up the pipe,
