Hi
Does anyone measure the inside temperature of the new oven with laser thermometer?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Vince83. It's a pleasure to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about Jumbuck pizza ovens.
There are several types of Jumbuck pizza ovens, which will vary in maximum temperatures. Which one were you using and enquiring about? Also, were you interested in the chamber's ambient temperature, which is indicated on some models' temperature gauges or the pizza stone's temperature? I trust if anyone has used a laser thermometer on theirs, they'll happily provide the results.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
Hi Mitchell
Thanks for your response.
I asked that for this oven:

Thanks for the clarification @Vince83.
@MitchellMc will be back on the site on Friday and chase it up for you.
Jason
Thanks a lot, Jason.
Hi @Vince83,
That pizza oven is designed for the cordierite pizza stone to achieve temperatures of up to 482°c. This ensures a super-quick cooking time and crispy bases similar to what you'd see from a pizza shop.
Please let me know if you have further questions.

Morning @Vince83 and @MitchellMc
I have no experience with the Jumbuck above - but I did try this one a few years ago from Coles...
The box packaging talked about 600 degrees Celsius and a pizza "cooked in 60 seconds!"
That would have taken a bigger miracle than Moses parting the Red Sea.
The whole concept is flawed - in my opinion.
