Should I add a downpipe to fix overflow?

Hi all,

I have a water overflowing issue at my flat.

At the other end of the block (30m away from my flat), the water in the gutter flows down thru the downpipe straight to the storm drain. Whereas there is no downpipe from my flat's gutter. This cause an overflow of rain water.

Is it a good idea to add a new downpipe from my gutter to the nearest drain which I believe share with the kitchen and bathroom?

Thank you.

Hi @andre999,

Could you please share some photos so members can see what you are working with and share their opinion on whether the existing setup is sufficient?

Given your other water ingress issues, it also seems prudent to also recommend a plumbing professional to make assessments on-site.
