G'day team, Happy New Year!
I'm putting in a L-shaped decking around two sides of my pool I just built. I'm going to use low plastic engineered waterproof boards for the top, but I will be framing with H3 or H4 blue pine. The framing will sit slightly above ground (50mm) with some blue metal underneath to trickle away rain and water. However the pine will still get wet, what do you recommend I waterproof the frame with before putting the decking boards on to finish?
Many thanks in advance
Glenn

So, H3 and H4 are typically green-tinted from the application of preservatives. Blue Pine is normally H2-treated for internal use.
H3 and H4 Pine is suitably preserved for above-ground external use and no further waterproofing is required. You might wish to paint the undersides of the timber with bitumen paint to prevent water from penetrating where it's closest to the soil and most humid.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
