Re: How to treat corrosion in gutter?
Hello @trantruong
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your gutters.
It appears that the damage is not so bad, and it looks like it can be sanded off. I suggest sanding the corroded surface with sandpaper and wiping the surface with sugar soap to remove any oil, grease or debris that might have deposited itself on the surface. When the surface is clean, I recommend using Dulux Precision 1L All Metal Primer. Once the primer cures, I suggest using Dulux Weathersheild for the topcoat.
In regards to portions of your gutter that can't be sanded properly, I propose using Dulux Metalshield Rust Defence Primer, it is both a primer and rust convertor in one. It can be applied over hard to remove rust sections, sealing them off from moisture which will prevent it from continuing to corrode.
Should pinhole leaks occur, I recommend using CAgroup 50mm x 3m Weatherproof Byute Flash Flashing Tape to repair the damage.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
Eric
