The Bunnings Workshop community can help with your home improvement projects.
this is an off the plan property newly built November 2023.
I've been noticing a lot of dust coming into the window seals inside that have noticed that on the outside that there are gaps here.
How do I seal this to ensure that no more dust or possibly water enters through these holes?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Ktran. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about sealing gaps.
Ideally, it would be best to have the rubber sealing gasket extend across the whole frame without gaps. If you don't have any luck with the builder replacing them, then you could potentially seal the gaps with Sikaflex 11FC. You'd probably have to stick some filler rod inside the hole, so you have something to apply the filler against.
Perhaps if you can get details of the manufacturer of the window frames, you'd be able to order replacement seals to suit.
Please let me know w if you have any questions.
