Hi all,
It's time to replace my gutter, could anyone help me identify this old gutter so I can by the replacement?
Hello @HectorVu
Thanks for sharing your question about your gutter. Can you see the end profile of the gutter? If you can, please take a photo of that section. At the moment I am unable to identify the type of gutter that you have. I propose measuring the front, bottom and back of the gutter, these measurements will come in handy when you go to the store and see which gutter is the closest in size. For example, the COLORBOND® 125mm x 3.0m Emline Slotted Gutter - Surfmist is 140mm at the front, 125mm at the bottom and 86mm at the back.
The closer you are to your original measurements means that it will fit back into the original space of your gutter. Please make sure to bring your measurements with you when you visit the store near you.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
Eric
Hi @EricL ,
Here is the measurement, is this enough to identify it or it's better to take it off and bring it to the store?
Front: 110mm
Back: 70mm
Bottom: 70mm
Hi @HectorVu,
It is fairly unlikely that your local store will stock the exact profile you are looking for.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to identify an exact match. It may be a proprietary or custom gutter profile that was used in the past.
I've had a look at our supplier Lysaght's Roofing, Guttering & Fascia and it looks fairly similar to the Sheerline guttering. The measurements are not the same, but the shape is very similar.
You'll have to confirm availability in your area, but this looks like a good option that you could order through your local store's Special Orders desk. Keep in mind that you may need to change the gutter brackets if the existing ones are not compatible.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Jacob
