How to remove artificial turf glue from tiles?

IMG_0808.jpeg

Hi All, I had artificial turf in my balcony that was glued to outdoor tiles. I’ve removed the turf and finding it tough to get rid of this turf glue.

any ideas on how to get rid of this and make it good?

alternatively, can anyone help if it’s part of their profession ?

regards

Re: How to remove artificial turf glue from tiles?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community Ram (@sitamanu). It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about removing glue.

What have you tried so far? It sounds like you'd need to use some type of solvent to soften the glue enough to be able to scrap it off. I'd start by trying some DIGGERS 1L Glue Rid in an inconspicuous location. It's best to ensure it will work and not just dissolve the glue and smear it into the surface.

You might find that it's quite difficult to remove the glue and several approaches could be needed. I suspect a bladed scraper will come in handy.

Remember your PPE including a face mask, safety glasses, acid/cut-resistant gloves, a long shirt, trousers and enclosed shoes.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
