Hi @Maymay
Simple outdoor liquid nails builder glue will hold the timber back on with a screw or two.
Sorry to say
You will need some one with a big ladder and extra safe high ladder skills to reach up there.
Maybe local handy man service.
Thank you for your advice, I wonder the handy man if he has a big ladder and I don’t have either
Happy 2025 to you all please stay safe 🎉🥳🎉🥳
Best regards

Hi @Maymay,
It seems like your rooftop timber repair might require the expertise of a professional. The length of timber in question appears to be custom-cut to fit neatly under the tiles, so replacing it will likely involve precise measurements and careful cutting to ensure a proper fit.
The current piece of timber looks like it is not deteriorated and warped, requiring replacement. A new piece of timber will need to be securely fixed into position to prevent future issues, and this could be a two-person job, especially to ensure accuracy and safety. Given the height and the risk involved, scaffolding may be necessary to provide a stable and secure working platform. This is particularly important for maintaining safety during the repair.
If you're not experienced with working at heights or handling roof repairs, I strongly recommend contacting a professional roofing contractor. They will have the skills, tools, and equipment needed to complete the job safely and efficiently.
Thank you for your advice
