How to fill gap between concrete path and sleeper?

My landscaper created this gap between my concrete sleeper and concrete path. He refused to help, so I don't know what to do. The gap is 1.5 to 2.5 cm wide. I want to prevent water from seeping through and insects from breeding within the gap. I put some aggregate stones in, but water is still coming in. Appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Re: How to fill gap between concrete path and sleeper?

Hi @dhanz15,

Thank you for your question about sealing a gap between your path and concrete sleepers.

You'll have to start by removing the stones in the gap. You can do this with something like a flathead screwdriver.

Once the gap has been cleared, you can follow the same process shown in How to fill a joint in a concrete slab.

Push abelflex into the gap, then cover it with Sikaflex 11FC Purform.

This will give you a nice clean seal that will prevent water from seeping through and insects breeding in the gap.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob
