We have put up a pergola and want to close of this gap around the bottom of the wall to the concrete. Any ideas?
Hello @laurat1989
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your pergola wall.
If the gap behind that wall is flat and can be filled with an expanding material I suggest using Parfix 340g Expanding Foam Filler. The foam filler will expand to 3 times its mass and will fill almost any gap. Once the foam cures you can trim it down with a Stanley or Craft knife. Another option is to use a timber skirting board to cover the large gap. Once the large gap is covered, I suggest using Selleys 430g White No More Gaps Exterior Gap Filler under the timber skirting to totally cover the gap.
Let me call on our experienced members @Nailbag and @Dave-1 for their recommendations.

Good Morning @laurat1989
Do you have access to behind the fence?
Two options -
- Option A, Install a board behind the fence across the base of the fence like a kickboard for a kitchen. You just drop it lower so it covers the gap of light.
- Option B, Install that same kickboard across the front of the fence, making sure the kickboard is wide enough to cover the gap.
- Option C, Install Metal Mate 30 x 30 x 3.0mm 3m Aluminium Angle - Silver for a minimulist look along the edge of your concrete. Bolt it down or liquid nails. Id actually suggest silastic and bolt it down so it forms a watertight barrier. Selleys 415g Brick And Concrete Sealant Just as a long wavey style bead underneath the L bracket.
