Hi,
I am moving out of my rental property, and over time, while watering my plants, my wall has developed these stains. How can I remove them?
Hello @Malank
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about cleaning the stains from your rendered wall.
First, I suggest using an Oates Soft Grip Scrub Brush in combination with water and detergent. Make sure that it bubbles very well and to do it in an up and down motion and not in a circular motion. Repeat the process if there are still shadows of the soil stain on the render. If the stain remains on the surface, I recommend trying 30 Seconds 2L Outdoor Cleaner with Rapid Hose End Technology.
Please make sure to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a paint rated mask while you are using that spray. I suggest using the scrub brush again and see if it removes all of the mud stains on the wall. The last chemical cleaner I'm going to recommend is the CLR 750ml Ready To Use Calcium Lime Rust Remover. I suggest testing a small corner first to make sure that it is not too strong for your wall. If the cleaner does not harm your wall, then you can use it on the whole wall.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
