Hi, just wondering if it's possible to paint the inside of a corten steel pot with Crommelin pond paint to turn it into pond?
Look forward to hearing back thanks!
Hi @Fionab111,
The Crommelin 4L Black Pond Sealer lists steel as a suitable substrate, and it sounds like it would work for your project.
To paint the inside of a pot, first clean the pot thoroughly to remove any dirt, rust, or grease. Allow it to dry completely. Use a brush or roller to evenly apply the first coat of Crommelin's Pond Sealer. Let it dry as per the manufacturer's instructions, and then apply a second coat for added durability. After the final coat is fully cured, your steel pot is ready to be filled with water and aquatic plants.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
