Can you get concrete poured in winter in Melbourne?
I am considering my driveway extension by a. Removing the black marked area and b. Concreating the area identified in Orange.
I have got a simple question - Would there be any difference in getting the concreting undertaken during winter months of Melbourne to summer months in Melbourne or it does not matter.
Appreciate any feedback / suggestion please.

Re: Can you get concrete poured in winter in Melbourne?
Hi @rajavamsi,
It is possible to pour concrete in winter, but typically, it's best if the temperatures remain above 5°C during the curing period. If the temperature drops to freezing, then significant issues can occur, such as cracking. Taking a look at the forecast, you'll see a number of nighttime lows below the 5°C threshold in Melbourne.
If you can wait, I suggest planning this portion of your project for when the weather warms up.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
