Please identify this plastic thing on top of my wardrobe sliding door
Hi @IsheshGambhir,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.
It looks like it is a doorstopper or a component that keeps the door on the track, but I'd need some further information to confirm this and identify a replacement.
Can you upload a photo of the track the door sits in, particularly where this plastic piece will run?
When the door was installed, was its function obvious? Did it hit something and stop the door from moving? Did it slide on a track?
Can you identify a brand name on this piece? Or perhaps on the door or door track?
Can you measure the piece and let us know the dimensions of it?
Any further information you can provide will help with identifying a suitable replacement.
Once you've provided these details, I will be happy to assist further.
Jacob
Hello @IsheshGambhir
I suspect that it is a wardrobe door guide. It is a device that prevents the wardrobe door from scratching against the aluminium channel of the wardrobe. But as Jacob said, if you are familiar with your wardrobe manufacturer it might be possible to get a replacement spare part from them.
