I found some cool old prints that I wanted to frame and found this cool design and thought I'd give making them a go myself. It was super easy and inexpensive. All materials were sourced from Bunnings.
Hi @DIYgals
What an ingenious way of displaying prints. Did you use a router to cut the channel in the timber? Is the rope pinching the print to the timber preventing it from falling off? Do you have any tips or advice for members who wish to replicate this fantastic project?
Thank you so much for sharing this picture frame project.

I have a beautiful tea towel that we bought on a trip to France and have wanted to hang it in our kitchen but was put off by the cost of framing. This looks the ideal solution. I’ll give this a ‘go’. Thank you for posting.
This ended up a very quick fix for one of those “one day I’ll get to it” jobs! I put cord front and back of the fabric to hold it firmly.
