I needed a desk that I could pack up and take with me when I moved. Basically I chose to use Rackit, as each shelf can handle 400kg. I stained each frame five times. On the top shelf, I attached a soundbar. The Rackit solution I went 900mm x 400mm due to limited size. I could have the printer on the top shelf but I moved it to the common room, so others could print too.Desk made out rackit solution
setup a mini-self using one sided shelf rack.
witht the side legs, they have one shelf so i inserted some stained wood and attached a power board. I Currently have two laptop and usb hub which
Under the top shelf, i used the support to hold small stain wood with usb lights that are controlled via usb hub buttons.
i stained the shelf 5 times on both sides. I still use a large mouse pad.

That's a fantastic way to use the Rackit system of shelving. As you mentioned it should be very easy to dis-assemble when moving it to a new location. I really like how you've positioned the shelves and the powerboard.
We look forward to seeing what other projects you're working on and we'd encourage you to let us know if you ever need assistance or have something to share with the community. I trust you'll find loads of inspiration on the site as our clever members are contributing their own projects here all the time.
Well done.
