I needed a desk that I could pack up and take with me when I moved. Basically I chose to use Rackit, as each shelf can handle 400kg. I stained each frame five times. On the top shelf, I attached a soundbar. The Rackit solution I went 900mm x 400mm due to limited size. I could have the printer on the top shelf but I moved it to the common room, so others could print too.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @omicky. It's fantastic to have you join us and many thanks for sharing your project.
That's a fantastic way to use the Rackit system of shelving. As you mentioned it should be very easy to dis-assemble when moving it to a new location. I really like how you've positioned the shelves and the powerboard.
We look forward to seeing what other projects you're working on and we'd encourage you to let us know if you ever need assistance or have something to share with the community. I trust you'll find loads of inspiration on the site as our clever members are contributing their own projects here all the time.
Well done.
