I would like to know the best approach to reduce the extent of these markings on the floor board without having to replace the flooring.
The ring marking was caused by an over watered plant pot, however the area is now dried.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Finderseek8. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about removing water stains.
Could you tell us a little more about the floorboards and any type of coating that has been applied to them? Water staining is typically a penetrative type of stain, and if it has, it would be next to impossible to remove as it's now one with the timber. Sanding and re-surfacing would be just about the only option. If these are laminate or vinyl floorboards, then the stain could potentially be on the surface. Have you tried any method for removal so far?
Please let me know if you have any questions.
